    Ok I ordered this and I have to take a piece off for my outlet and have threads, the two adapters are too small for my threaded outlet. They seem to be an exact match while needing to be bigger to thread on.

      Is this a regular pool not a intex or blow up if so if you remove your return eyeball piece which directs the water you can just screw this in without adapters!

      I've seen that happen before that's why I grease the hell out of everything, some people don't like the amount I use but they also don't do maintenance on as many as I do lol, make sure if you took it apart to grease well and replace all rubber o-rings and even if your impeller is nice looking save yourself a headache and replace it every couple years! Well worth the 35 bucks!!! Thank you for watching and have a great summer!!!!

    Wow 23 years of pool owning and just learned about the inside gasket. Problem solved’

    • @WhitehouseFarmVet
      @WhitehouseFarmVet 2 дні тому

      Just remember some manufacturers have different ways of setting gaskets make sure to read your specific instructions for whatever brand you buy! All should have a total of 3 gaskets! Some brands will have different mixes like 1 cork 2 rubber, 1 paper 2 rubber, and 3 rubber, some require 1 in pool 1 in between liner 1 outside, others 1 inside and 2 outside etc , so for whatever brand you buy follow those instructions! Thank you for watching and have a great summer!😊

    When installing the return valve. The second rubber washer does not go in between the wall and the line. The second rubber washer goes on the outside followed by the hard washer. The hard washer prevents the rubber washer from getting twisted up during the tightening process. As per manufacturer instructions.

    • @WhitehouseFarmVet
      @WhitehouseFarmVet 2 дні тому

      I get this alot, this is true for some manufacturers brands you have to follow the instructions that come with your specific gasket set, different manufacturers and brands have different style setups and installations! Example, all should come with a total of 3 gaskets!! Some are 1 cork, 2 rubber, or 1 paper 2 rubber, or 1 cork, 1 paper, 1 rubber, or 3 rubber etc, also different install placements such as 1 inside pool, 1 inside liner/pool, 1 outside, or 1 rubber inside, 2 rubber outside, or 1 rubber inside 1 rubber then 1 paper outside etc etc, you need to follow the instructions for whatever specific brand you buy!! Thank you for watching!

    Do it yourselfers Homeowners DO NOT make any cuts to the liners until the water is one inch below the intended hole. ProS can do it pros , have to do it. They can't wait for every pool to be filled. The only way to get it exact is to have the water pressure all the way up an inch below your cut. There is absolutely no reason for a homeowner that's living there to rush the process.Wait untill the water level gets up and then do with the right way.

    • @WhitehouseFarmVet
      @WhitehouseFarmVet 2 дні тому

      I wouldn't say do it your self not to do this, but your right you do need a certain amount of water in your pool before cutting!!! The pool liner manufacturers suggest having enough water that your lower seam which runs the entire length around your pool to be completely covered, this allows enough pressure to hold your liner down and against the wall, if you are not sure or you feel it's not pressed against the wall enough absolutely take your time and let it fill more it's definitely not a race and your right no need to rush! But anyone can do this, so do it at your comfort level! Thanks for watching and have a great summer!

    Very helpful and easy repair! Highly recommend a pulley remover tool which you can loan from your local auto store. I managed to get mine off without but it caused quite a headache. Definitely keep the extra spacers as well. I actually ended up needing the two new ones olus one of the old ones. I'm decent with tooling and probably a 5/10 woth cars, and this took just over and hour to get done, having the pulley remover would have probably put me well below the hour mark. Having an extra set of hands also certainly sped up the process, as you can get to different parts of it from the top and side in a 2012 Nissan Rogue
